Kathryn A. Blackburn, Ed.D., Executive Director

Kathy oversees all aspects of TregoED strategy and operations. She works throughout the U.S. and Canada with districts and education leaders helping them address and resolve complex issues. Prior to joining TregoED, Kathy served as district senior director, middle school principal, and teacher with Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Florida, her M.Ed. degree from Rollins College and her Ed.D. degree from the University of Central Florida.

Jim works with school and district administrators helping them implement TregoED’s critical thinking strategies. Prior to joining TregoED, he served in Wisconsin as superintendent of an intermediate agency, district superintendent, principal and teacher. Jim received his B.S. in mathematics from the University of Kansas; M.S. from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee; and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Carol works from our HQ in Princeton, NJ and supports all aspects of TregoED. Prior to joining TregoED, Carol was a senior coordinator with Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., an international management consulting firm. She held a variety of positions in desktop publishing, production arena, and administration.

Cynthia has been with TregoED since its inception and has served in several capacities, including: consulting and delivery, management, and product development. She is co-author with Ben Tregoe of Analytic Processes for School Leaders (ASCD, 2001) and has co-authored several articles. Prior to joining TregoED, she was a consultant with Kepner-Tregoe, Inc. Cynthia holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and a M.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Pat helps develop TregoED business relationships and strategic alliances as well as secure funding. She also assists with delivery and client relationships. Prior to joining TregoED, Pat was a partner and senior consultant with Kepner-Tregoe Inc.. Pat designed and facilitated engagements in a variety of areas including: strategy formulation and implementation, skill development, team building, and productivity improvement.

Sandra Wozniak, Director of Curriculum & Technology

Sandy manages design and delivery of our technology-related products. Prior to joining tregoEd, Sandy taught for 33 years in the New Jersey public schools. For the last 26 years, she has specialized in technology integration in all subject areas. Sandy has written and implemented curriculum for mini-courses in robotics, 21st Century Skills, Decision Analysis, technology, science and web 2.0 tools. Trained in rational process, supervision and school leadership, Sandy has provided professional development in technology integration at all levels. In 2010, she was honored as NJ Middle Level Educator of the Year. She received her B.A., Masters, and supervisory certification from Rutgers University.



FOUNDER

Benjamin B. Tregoe, Ph.D.
Founder 1927–2005
Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Kepner-Tregoe, Inc.
Benjamin B. Tregoe, Ph.D. was co-founder of Kepner-Tregoe and served as chairman emeritus until he died in 2005. In 1993, realizing a long-held dream of serving educators and education, he founded TregoED.

Dr. Tregoe authored several books and articles. He is memorialized in the Human Resource Development Hall of Fame. Dr. Tregoe held a bachelor of arts from Whittier College and a doctor of philosophy from Harvard University.


BOARD

Bruce D. Keener, TregoED Board Chairman
President & CEO of Kepner-Tregoe, Inc. (Retired)

Mr. Keener served as President of Kepner-Tregoe from 1999-2007 and held numerous KT positions in finance and operations prior to that. Prior to joining Kepner-Tregoe in 1976, Mr. Keener was employed by Arthur Andersen & Company, where he consulted with organizations in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Mr. Keener has served on various Boards of Directors and has developed strategies for several not-for-profit organizations.

Mr. Keener holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Drexel University and is a member of the American Association of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael W. Curran-Hays, Partner—Kepner-Tregoe

Michael Curran-Hays directs Kepner-Tregoe (KT) operations in the U.S. and Canada. Michael provides executive leadership for all consulting and training services in the region. Michael’s areas of expertise include: cost management, operational improvement, strategy formulation, and professional development.

Michael holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arizona. He resides with his wife and children in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Mike Gallina, Superintendent, North Canton City Schools (OH)

Mike is superintendent of No. Canton City Schools, a position he has held since 2004. Prior to that, he was superintendent of Minerva Local School District (OH). Earlier in his career, he served as teacher, coach and principal.

In 2009, he was honored as “Superintendent of the Year” for the state of Ohio. He has also served on several non-profit boards and has been a featured speaker at many conferences.

He received his B.A. in Elementary Education from Mount Union College, and his Master’s and Elementary Principal and Assistant Superintendent certifications from Ashland University.
