Collaborative Decision-Making for School Leaders (CDSL)

This introductory workshop introduces four proven strategies for handling tough situations. Emphasis is on learning the strategies and applying them to education-related cases and job-related issues.

Target audience: school and district leaders, school board members, teacher leaders, committee members

Length: 3-4 days

Prerequisite: None

Participants will learn strategies to help them:

  • Develop meaningful solutions to difficult problems
  • Build commitment among stakeholders
  • Create a culture of effective decision making
  • Plan for successful implementation of changes, policies and initiatives
  • Engender confidence from Boards and communities
